All of our alpacas are rescues; most are former champions. They are beautiful, intelligent animals with a sweet disposition – and incredible fiber (see our “What Makes Alpaca Fiber so Special?” page https://urlakisfamilyfarm.com/what-makes-alpaca-fiber-so-special/). We sell fiber from their annual shearing and soon hope to sell a variety of alpaca products, including dryer balls, yarn, bags of 2nds and 3rds, suet feeders stuffed with fiber for bird’s nests, as well as skirted raw prime fiber from the 2024 and 2025 shearings. Our products are also available via the Richfield Farmer’s Market from late May through Oct.
